Mayo Clinic Hospital in Rochester, MN offers a PGY2 Pharmacotherapy Residency designed to develop expertise for a multitude of patient populations. As a Pharmacotherapy resident, much of your time will be devoted to comprehensive training as a member of the interdisciplinary team. Required rotations include ambulatory care, cardiology, critical care, infectious diseases and internal medicine. Elective rotations are tailored to your needs, and cover nearly every medical, surgical and ambulatory care specialty area. Additional requirements include completion of a multi-part research curriculum, a research project, medication use evaluation, and formal presentations.

Fringe Benefits:   

15 days of paid professional leave, up to 10 funded professional travel days, medical/dental/life insurance. Relocation assistance ($500) is available.

Special Requirements for Acceptance:   

US citizenship, PharmD from an accredited college of pharmacy, completion of an accredited PGY1 residency (or equivalent experience) before starting the program, eligible for MN pharmacist licensure. Applications submitted via PhORCAS must include academic transcript from your college of pharmacy, curriculum vitae, a 1-page letter of intent, and 3 letters of recommendation.
