Mayo Clinic Hospital in Rochester, MN offers a PGY2 Emergency Medicine Pharmacy Residency at a Level 1 Trauma Center and Stroke Center designed to develop a proficient, independent practitioner capable of providing advanced pharmaceutical care in emergency medicine. As a resident, you will obtain advanced training in all areas of emergency medicine, including critical care, toxicology and emergency preparedness. Adult and pediatric training experiences of nearly every type are available. Additional requirements include completion of a multi-part research curriculum, a research project, medication use evaluation, formal presentations and simulation-based training.

 
Fringe Benefits:   

15 days of paid professional leave, up to 10 funded professional travel days, medical/dental/life insurance. Relocation assistance ($500) is available.

 
Special Requirements for Acceptance:   

US citizenship, PharmD from an accredited college of pharmacy, completion of an accredited PGY1 residency (or equivalent experience) before starting the program, eligible for MN pharmacist licensure. Applications submitted via PhORCAS must include academic transcript from your college of pharmacy, curriculum vitae, a 1-page letter of intent, and 3 letters of recommendation.
