Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN offers a PGY1 Pharmacy Residency for those who desire to be a proficient, independent practitioner capable of providing broad pharmacotherapy knowledge to a multitude of ambulatory care patient populations. Residents are afforded patient care opportunities in a diverse array of ambulatory care settings, including anticoagulation, cardiology, family medicine, medication therapy management, and medication safety. Electives are tailored to individual resident needs. Requirements include completion of a multi-part research curriculum, a research project, medication use evaluation, and formal presentations.

Fringe Benefits:   

15 days of paid professional leave, up to 10 funded professional travel days, medical/dental/life insurance. Relocation assistance ($500) is available.

Special Requirements for Acceptance:   

US citizenship, PharmD from an accredited college of pharmacy, eligible for MN pharmacist licensure. Applications submitted via PhORCAS must include academic transcript from your college of pharmacy, curriculum vitae, a 1-page letter of intent, and 3 letters of recommendation.
