Residency Special Features:   Each resident’s experiences are customized within the program’s structure to facilitate the individual’s long term goals. Required rotations include General Pediatrics, Pediatric Critical Care, Neonatal Critical Care, Infectious Disease, Hematology/Oncology and hospital orientation. Longitudinal rotations are one year in length and include management, leadership and operational activities. Certification is awarded after the resident completes 12 months of service, achieves at least 80% of program goals, and submits a major research manuscript suitable for publication.

Site Special Features:   The Children’s Hospital at Saint Francis is part of a health system that serves the Northeastern portion of Oklahoma. The pharmacy department precepts pharmacy students from OU and SWOSU Colleges of Pharmacy. It is the training site for the Pediatric Medical Residency Programs for the University of Oklahoma-Tulsa and Oklahoma State University Medical Center. The resident will work closely with these health care providers. It is located in the beautiful northeast portion of the state.
