Residency Special Features:   The PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program at Florida Hospital Orlando develops the skills to provide direct patient care in multiple environments. Learning experiences are available in a variety of clinical specialties including Critical Care, Infectious Diseases, Antimicrobial Stewardship, Internal Medicine, Oncology, Cardiology, Neurology, Surgery, Bone Marrow Transplant, Metabolic Support, Pediatrics, Ambulatory Care, Emergency Medicine, Practice Management, Clinical Leadership, Medication Safety, Pharmacy Informatics, Investigational Drug Services, and Drug Information. Our program puts forth the opportunity to professionally develop through participation in formulary reviews, medication use evaluations, journal club presentations, patient case presentations, continuing education seminars, research projects, and PharmD student teaching. Special Requirements for Acceptance:   Complete PhORCAS application; 3 references utilizing standard form in PhORCAS with narrative comment section completed or supplemental letter of recommendation; eligibility for licensure in Florida. Program does not sponsor H1B Visas.
