Residency Special Features:   

Mayo Clinic Hospital in Rochester, MN offers a PGY2 Critical Care Pharmacy Residency designed to develop expertise in critical care therapeutics in a world-renowned tertiary care referral center. Training opportunities are available in 10 different ICUs with over 200 ICU beds, including adult surgical ICUs (cardiovascular surgery, surgical-trauma, neurosurgical, cardiothoracic transplantation, and vascular/thoracic), adult medical ICUs (general medicine, immunocompromised), coronary care ICU, neonatal and pediatric ICUs, and emergency medicine. Additional requirements include completion of a multi-part research curriculum, a research project, medication use evaluation, formal presentations and code participation.

 
Fringe Benefits:   

15 days of paid professional leave, up to 10 funded professional travel days, medical/dental/life insurance. Relocation assistance ($500) is available.

 
Special Requirements for Acceptance:   

US citizenship, PharmD from an accredited college of pharmacy, completion of an accredited PGY1 residency (or equivalent experience) before starting the program, eligible for MN pharmacist licensure. Applications submitted via PhORCAS must include academic transcript from your college of pharmacy, curriculum vitae, a 1-page letter of intent, and 3 letters of recommendation.
