Residency Special Features:   This specialized residency is designed to provide advanced practical experience in the area of critical care. It offers experience in cardiothoracic surgery, cardiac intensive care, emergency medicine, medical intensive care, neuroclinical intensive care and surgical/burn/trauma intensive care; various elective rotations are available. BLS and ACLS training are provided. Residents participate in antibiotic control and didactic and experiential teaching, complete a research project, respond to cardiac arrests and gain drug policy experience through active committee participation.
