Residency Special Features:   Residents will rotate the following core areas: adult medicine, ambulatory care/primary care, pharmacokinetics, infectious diseases, long-term care, mental health, drug useage evaluation, drug information, administration, and anticoagulation clinic. Elective rotations in various areas and teaching opportunities are offered based on individual need.
 
Fringe Benefits:   Four hours annual leave and sick leave, respectively, per pay period (every two weeks), ten days of federal holidays per year, and health insurance.
 
Special Requirements for Acceptance:   Licensure in the United States, Pharm.D. degree. Send a letter of interest, transcript, curriculum vitae, and three letters of reference.

Site Special Features:   The Fargo VAM and ROC is a 132-bed general hospital with a 50-bed nursing home care unit and is accredited by the JCAHO. The hospital also has an outpatient clinic that services the medical needs of the veterans. The hospital has organized major elements of care in the areas of cardiovascular disease, oncology/hematology, endocrinology, infectious disease, neurosciences, nephrology, internal medicine, ambulatory care, alcohol and chemical dependency, pulmonary medicine, and long-term care.
