Residency Special Features:   The residency offers a flexible program designed to provide the resident with a unique experience in clinical, automated and administrative practices. Clinical rotations include cardiology (general and intensive care), adult medicine (general and intensive care), pediatrics/neonatalogy (general and intensive care), infectious disease, oncology, managed care, and ambulatory care. Longitudinal rotations include practice management, automation, skilled-nursing, and emergency medicine. Written and oral communication skills are emphasized throughout the program. The resident will gain experience teaching through inservice presentations and serving as preceptor for pharmacy students on clinical rotations.
