Residency Special Features:   The Humana Pharmacy Solutions residency is designed to give each resident a wide breadth and depth of experience and knowledge in managed care pharmacy and a PBM environment. The residency includes a core curriculum with corresponding rotations which will present each resident with a foundational knowledge and skills within managed care. Residents will have the opportunity to be active team members with multiple responsibilities in each of the following areas: Pharmacy and Therapeutics, Medication Therapy Management, Sales and Segment Support, Clinical Pharmacy Review, Drug Information, Pharmacy Practice and Distribution, Pharmacy Operations, and Outcomes Research. The resident will also participate through a partnership with a university to obtain a Scholarship of Teaching and Learning Certificate. The resident will also be responsible to complete a resident project, complete a community service project, and participate in leadership training courses.

Special Requirements for Acceptance:   1. Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy, Pharm.D, eligible for licensure in the state of Kentucky 2. Willingness to re-locate to Louisville, Kentucky for a minimum of one year 3. Curriculum Vitae 4. College of Pharmacy official grade transcript 5. Letter summarizing why you are pursuing this residency (500 words or less) 6. Three signed letters of recommendation
