Residency Special Features:
This program is designed to serve as a 12 month, post-graduate training program in nuclear pharmacy. Successful completion of this residency meets the requirements of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) for "Authorized User" status, and qualifies the resident for 2,000 hours toward eligibility for board certification in nuclear pharmacy (BCNP).

Special Requirements for Acceptance:
The principal training site for this residency is the Central Radiopharmaceutical Services, Inc. (CRS) at the University at Buffalo. This service supplies radiopharmaceuticals to thirty sites including all of the teaching hospitals affiliated with the University at Buffalo, as well as several private hospitals and clinics. Experiences outside of the pharmacy will take place at one or more of the affiliated clinical sites.
