Special Program Features:
Sixteen month program (days) twenty month (evening) leading to Associate of Science Degree in Pharmacy Technology, covering hospital, home health care, and community pharmacy. Assistance with state registration, certification exam, preparation for job search. Hands-on experience in pharmacy setting in unit dose, prescription filling, computer entry and patient profile maintenance, and sterile product preparation in a laminar flow hood. Clinical training in hospital, home health care, and community pharmacy settings.
Acceptance Requirements:
High school diploma or GED, 17 years of age or older, successful completion of preadmission exam.
