Special Program Features:
The program provides extensive hands-on skill development by using a state of the art classroom and lab furnished with current software, a state of the art laminar flow hood, validation for parenterals as well as chemotherapy preparations. There are skills labs for compounding, unit dose cart filling, apothecary measurements, resume and job preparation, as well as assistance and preparation for the national exam. Instruction in development of good work habits which aid in job retention are included in the courses and are highly emphasized.
Acceptance Requirements:
Be at least 16 years of age, submit official high school transcript or GED transcript, submit official college transcripts if applicable, clean criminal background check from an appropriate law enforcement agency, admission scores (COMPASS): Reading 70, Writing 23, Numerical 26.

Special Requirements:
Drug screening, TB test, CPR certification Hepatitis B vaccine and Criminal Background Check.

Additional Requirements:
Complete MAT 101 and SCT 101 with a grade of B or higher, complete core courses with an overall 3.0 GPA, complete AHS 101, AHS 109, ENG 101 prior to taking PSB, and score within 25th percentile on PSB test.
