Special Program Features:
Computer experience using Retail, IV, and Unit Dose pharmacy prescription software, assistance with AR Board of Pharmacy registration, classroom lecture is combined with hands on laboratory and clinical experience to provide the student with a well rounded view of pharmacy technician duties.
Acceptance Requirements:
H.S. diploma or GED equivalency, 18 years of age or older, eligible for registration with the AR Board of Pharmacy, Clear Background check, Program application, acceptance into the University and ACT or Compass Test Score.

Academic Degree:
Technical Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Science after 2 semesters.
Additional Requirements:
Associate of Applied Science in Pharmacy Technician Science may be obtained after successful completion of the Technical Certificate Program and 2 additional semesters of specified coursework.
