Special Program Features:
Century Community and Technical College (CCTC) has offered comprehensive pharmacy technician training since 1978. In 1987 CCTC became ASHP accredited. CCTC has financial aid available and offers job placement services. The flexible pharmacy technician program includes unit dose, out patient and i.v.'s as well as a progressive system of learning and computerized drug processing.
Acceptance Requirements:
HS diploma. Reading, Math, English assessment test to acceptable levels.
General Location Training Sites:
Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota area.
Special Requirements:
All high technology well-equipped sites with strong technician educational abilities. Interview, TB test, and drug statement.
Academic Degree:
Certificate - 16 credits
Diploma - 26 credits
AAS - 64 credits
Additional Requirements:
Completion of 20 additional credits in specified curriculum areas satisfies the requirements for an AAS Degree in Pharmacy Technician Technology.
