Special Program Features:
The program provides a self-paced, cooperative classroom environment conductive to Individualized learning. The student receives a certificate of completion at the conclusion of the program and is prepared to take the national technician certification exam. The program teaches unit dose, prepacking, cart filling, computer literacy, pharmacology law, automation, I.V. admixture, chemotherapy, terminology and abbreviations, CPR, First Aid, and HIPPA.
Acceptance Requirements:
High School Graduate or GED
Meet required scores for math reading, and language on T.A.B.E - Level A
General Location Training Sites:
Throughout Pinellas County with limited sites in Hillsborough, Pasco, and Manatee counties in Florida.
