Prerequisite course work:
Math, Writing, Reading competency required must have beginning Algebra competency or take 2 credits of algebra. If minimum writing and reading scores are not met, students must enroll in pre-college courses.

Special Program Features:
NDSCS is a two year liberal arts and technical college. The college offers housing and meal plans, extra-curricular activities such as basketball, volleyball, and intramural sports. Tuition for out of state students greatly reduced with housing plan. The Pharmacy Technician program is housed in a new state of the art Allied Health Center with 7 other allied health programs. Students graduating will meet the educational standards for Registration in North Dakota as well as taking the PTCB exam for national certification. Financial Aid is available as well as scholarships specifically for Pharmacy Technician Students. The NDSC placement office assists students in job placement upon graduation. The Allied Health Departments hold an annual Career Fair for job exploration as well. The program also runs a non-credit on-the-job training program that is also accredited.
Acceptance Requirements:
HS Diploma or GED is ACT required, additional COMPAS testing may be required dependant on ACT scores. NDSCS has mandatory placement therefore if minimum algebra skills, writing or reading skills are not met the student will have to enroll in additional course work.
General Location Training Sites:
Mainly North Dakota, limited South Dakota and Minnesota.

TB skin test (provided by the college immediately prior to rotations) Rubella titre and immunizations required prior to admittance to college.
