Special Program Features:
The Pharmacy Technology Program provides both technical and practical training that will enable the technician, upon licensure, to be a competent, entry-level assistant to a licensed pharmacist. The Program provides the student with the basic knowledge of a practice in pharmacy calculations, pharmaceutical and medical terminology, drug distribution systems, and preparation of sterile dosage forms. The student is also being prepared to take the National Test after they've acquired their license. Financial Aid for those who qualify. Job placement assistance provided. Externship provided.
Acceptance Requirements:
17 years or older, HS diploma or GED or California Proficiency Exam required. Passing score on the CPAT entrance exam. Interview required. Statement of interest and application required. Approval by the College's Enrollment Review Board.
