Residency Special Features:   • Affiliation with Long Island University; includes adjunct teaching requirement • 24/7 In-house Pharmacotherapist On-Call program (every sixth night) • Eleven months of direct patient care rotations • Strong emphasis on collaborative drug therapy management thru inpatient consult services and outpatient pharmacy-based clinics • Research requirement • Rotations in Medicine, Critical Care (Surgery, Pulmonary, Nutrition), Pediatrics, Infectious Diseases, Ambulatory Care, Pharmacokinetics

Special Requirements for Acceptance:   Must apply through PHORCAS, Citizenship, Pharm.D, Licensure (preferred), Academic Transcript, Curriculum Vitae, Three letters of recommendation, Minimum GPA 3.2, One letter of recommendation must be from a faculty preceptor. Applicants must specifically address our 24 hour, in-house, on-call program in their letter of intent.
