Residency Special Features:   The program provides experiences in a variety of settings including patient care and practice management. Core learning experiences occur in critical care, cardiology, infectious disease, internal medicine, oncology, and emergency medicine. Longitudinal experience include preceptor development, utilization management, medication safety, pharmacy operation and research project. Upon completion of the program residents will be prepared to serve as clinical/staff pharmacists, adjunct clinical faculty, or go on to PGY2 residency programs. Special Requirements for Acceptance:   Applicants must be a graduate of an accredited college of pharmacy in the United States and be eligible for licensure as a pharmacist in Michigan. Required application materials include: letter of intent, 3 letters of recommendation, official college of pharmacy transcript, and a curriculum vitae. These materials must be submitted via PhORCAS.
