Site Special Features:   This PGY2 ambulatory care pharmacy residency program provides significant experience in primary care through 3 ETSU Family Medicine residency teaching programs using a team-based approach to patient care in both the acute & ambulatory settings. The resident gains in-depth experience with transition-of-care issues by being involved in inpatient care and clinic-based care, as well as home-visit-based care with Family Medicine residents (first through third year trainees) and attendings. Elective rotations are available in ID/HIV, psychiatry, advanced diabetes management, indigent-based care, oncology, and private employer health screening clinics.
