Residency Special Features:   The residency program offers an opportunity to train in a Pharmacy Practice Model consistent with the Best Practice model advocated by ASHP. Rotations offered include: Cardiology, Critical Care, Emergency Medicine, Infectious Disease, Internal Medicine, Nutrition Support, Oncology, Pharmacy Administration, Pharmacy Operations, Primary Care. Longitudinal experiences include Antimicrobial Stewardship, Drug Information, Medication Safety, Performance Improvement, Primary Care, Precepting, and a Teaching & Learning Program. Affiliated with Belmont University, Lipscomb University and University of Tennessee.
