Residency Special Features:   Graduates of the ABD-UNE PGY1 residency program will be trained to serve as experts in the field of specialty pharmacy; ready to:
  • Provide ongoing disease management for patients with chronic conditions including organ transplant, infectious diseases, such as hepatitis C, and inflammatory conditions, such as rheumatoid arthritis and Crohn's disease
  • Develop and implement didactic and lab-based educational material in an academic setting as part of a Teaching Certificate Program
  • Design and present sophisticated outcomes analyses that demonstrate the value of today's specialty pharmacy services.
 
Fringe Benefits:   The resident will receive benefits including health insurance, sick leave, paid vacation/holidays and travel support for professional meetings.
 
Special Requirements for Acceptance:   PharmD , eligibility for Maine licensure, letter of intent, CV, application, official transcripts, three letters of recommendation and on-site interview.
