Residency Special Features:   Residents will rotate the following core areas: pharmacy operations, internal medicine, ambulatory care/primary care, long-term care, home-based primary care, mental health, surgery, research, administration, and anticoagulation clinic. Four Elective rotations in various areas and teaching opportunities are offered based on individual need.
Fringe Benefits:   Four hours annual leave and sick leave, respectively, per pay period (every two weeks), ten days of federal holidays per year, and health insurance.
Special Requirements for Acceptance:   US citizenship, Licensure in the United States, Pharm.D. degree from an accredited college of pharmacy. Submit a letter of interest, transcript, curriculum vitae, and three letters of reference via PhORCAS by the application deadline.

Site Special Features:   The Fargo VA HCS is a 110 bed general hospital with a nursing home care unit and is accredited by the Joint Commission. The hospital also has an outpatient clinic that services the medical needs of our veterans. The hospital has organized major elements of care in the areas of cardiovascular disease, oncology/hematology, endocrinology, infectious disease, neurosciences, nephrology, internal medicine, ambulatory care, alcohol and chemical dependency, pulmonary medicine, and long-term care.
