Residency Special Features:   The resident will develop expertise and competency in providing pharmaceutical care services to cancer patients in both inpatient and ambulatory oncology healthcare settings. Required rotations include adult and pediatric oncology, bone marrow transplant, oral chemotherapy, infusion and clinical research. Longitudinal experiences include: attending tumor boards, participation in the oncology P & T subcommittee, and precepting students and PGY1 Residents. Residents will participate in multidisciplinary oncology committees and other activities with residents in the surrounding area. http://www.stlukesonline.org/

Special Requirements for Acceptance:   PharmD degree or equivalent, eligibility for Idaho licensure, CV, 3 letters of recommendation (1 from PGY1 RPD) and completion of PGY1 residency.

Site Special Features:   St. Luke's MSTI is a regional cancer treatment center serving southern Idaho, eastern Oregon, and northern Nevada. Nearly 3000 new patients are seen each year at St. Luke's MSTI, and 600-800 are receiving anticancer drug therapy at any given time. The inpatient oncology pharmacy satellite and five ambulatory clinics are staffed by 13 oncology pharmacists. Boise is one of the nation's fastest growing cities and located within minutes of skiing, white water rafting, hiking, and camping.
