Residency Special Features:   This program is a one year residency program designed to allow pharmacists to develop strong foundational pharmacotherapy, operational and practice management skills to develop clinical pharmacists responsible for medication-related care of patients with a wide range of conditions, eligible for board certifications and eligible for postgraduate year two (PGY2) pharmacy residency training. Required rotations and experiences include internal medicine, critical care medicine, pediatrics, oncology, practice management, hospital pharmacy practice, medication safety and the completion of a research project. Electives include: neonatal intensive care unit, cardiac care unit, infectious diseases.

Special Requirements for Acceptance:   Eligibility for Lebanese licensure as registered pharmacist, college transcripts, letter of intent, curriculum vitae, 3 completed reference writer forms via PhORCAS, PharmD degree (6 years of education) from accredited schools of pharmacy in Lebanon or United States, and Lebanese citizenship. All application materials will be accepted through PhORCAS. Licensure to practice in Lebanon is a must requirement for the residency program per ASHP guidelines and standards.
