Residency Special Features:   This 12-month residency offers a comprehensive yet flexible program which provides individual attention and an in-depth exposure to health-system pharmacy practice. Rotations are designed to offer the resident a wide range of administrative experiences. Rotations in Pharmacy Administration, Pharmacy Operations, and Clinical Practice Management along with formal presentations and research projects provide comprehensive training in health-system pharmacy administration practice.

Site Special Features:   EMMC is the only tertiary facility north of Bangor and EMMC receives the most critically ill patients.  EMMC is a Level III NICU, Level II trauma center with 6 critical care units, a cardiac catheterization lab, dialysis center and a cancer care facility.  Close to the ocean, Acadia National Park is in our back yard.  Maine has something to offer everyone from hiking, biking, skiing, snowmobiling, boating and swimming, the fresh air and outdoor activities are plentiful.
