Residency Special Features:   MGH offers advanced practice rotations in all the critical care areas including Medical ICU, Surgical ICU, Cardiac Critical Care, Cardiac-Surgery ICU, Neurosurgical/Neurology ICU, Transplant, Burn, Emergency Medicine, Neonatal ICU and Pediatric ICU, all with established pharmacist practitioners. The department supports education of pharmacy students and offers the opportunity for residents to precept APPE students from two colleges of pharmacy within Boston. Lecture opportunities with colleges of pharmacy and nursing are encouraged.

Special Requirements for Acceptance:   Doctor of Pharmacy degree; completion of an accredited PGY1 residency; licensure as pharmacist in Massachusetts; curriculum vitae; three letters of recommendation, letter of intent.
