Residency Special Features:   The oncology specialty residency program at Boston Medical Center (BMC) provides a structured training experience for pharmacists looking to develop clinical expertise in Oncology pharmacy. Core learning activities include inpatient and outpatient oncology, transplant, Investigational Drug Service and Specialty Pharmacy. The resident is an integral part of the oncology pharmacy team and will gain experience and competence in order to function as an independent clinical specialist in the provision of pharmaceutical care to oncology patients. Additionally, the resident will gain experience providing education in experiential and didactic settings, education of patients and health-care providers, and conduction of independent quality improvement project.
