Residency Special Features:   Core experiences include orientation to pharmacy services, internal medicine, cardiology, infectious disease, pharmacy administration, pediatrics, adult intensive care, and hematology/oncology. Core longitudinal experiences include drug information, drug use evaluation, research project and clinical staff pharmacist coverage. The program gives residents the flexibilty to pursue their personal interests while becoming well rounded in providing pharmaceutical care care. DHMC has an academic affiliaton with the University of Connecticut for teaching Pharm.D. students
