Residency Special Features:   The Department has a fully automated medication system. The hospital has EMR, CPOE, and beside bar code scanning of medications. Pharmacists participate in interdisciplinary rounds on the three ICUs daily and also attend rounds with the Hospitalists. Resident's rotations will include: orientation, internal medicine, critical care, infectious disease, research, pharmacy staffing, ambulatory/transitions of care, and pharmacy administration/leadership. Elective rotations may include behavioral health, emergency medicine, cardiology, and pediatrics/NICU. Residents will also assist with precepting IPPE/APPE students and will have opportunity to complete a teaching certificate program.

Special Requirements for Acceptance:   PharmD required; licensure in NJ by September 1st; must provide letter of intent, three letters of recommendation, official transcript, and curriculum vitae.
