Residency Special Features:   This residency provides the resident in-depth experience with direct patient care. The resident rounds with various disciplines: General Adult, Geriatric, Dual Diagnosis, and Committed Short-term care patients. Optional off-site rotations in Child Psychiatry and Psychiatric Emergency Services. The resident will conduct Medication Education Group Therapy weekly, present inservices to staff, provide drug information to patients and clinicians, and give one formal presentation. Lectures to students at Rutgers School of Pharmacy optional. The resident will also serve as co-preceptor to PharmD students. Attendance at the ASHP Midyear Meeting and Eastern Residency Conference is mandatory; (ACCP, APhA, NJSHP optional). The resident will present at least one poster at a conference.

Special Requirements for Acceptance:   PharmD or equivalent experience, Curriculum Vitae, Academic Transcript, eligibility for Licensure in New Jersey, 3 letters of recommendation.
