Residency Special Features:   

This position is offered for practitioners who desire to advance their knowledge and skills in oncology pharmacotherapy upon successful completion of a PGY-1 residency. The program is flexible and focuses on the goals of the resident but is intended to provide clinical, research, and teaching experience. Required rotations include leukemia, lymphoma, bone marrow transplantation (allogeneic and autologous), solid tumors inpatient, solid tumors outpatient, palliative care, transplant infectious disease, and investigational drug pharmacy services. Elective rotations include benign hematology and pediatric oncology. Residents also have multiple opportunities for multidisciplinary presentations to oncology fellows, residents, house staff, physician assistants, and pharmacy staff. Residents conduct journal clubs, case presentations, and oncology forum presentations throughout the year.
