Residency Special Features:   

Huntington Hospital Association is a community-based teaching facility, a member of Northwell Health, offering 4 positions in pharmacy practice residency. Huntington Hospital is one of six pharmacy residency programs of Northwell Health. The following pharmacy practice rotations are offered to customize the resident's preference: cardiology, critical care, emergency medicine, ambulatory care specialized in HIV, medication safety, infectious disease and nephrology focused-internal medicine, and administration. The residents will interact with students from St. John's University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences as well as other residents of Northwell Health. A scholarly research project is required. Communication skill development and teaching are emphasized. A teaching certificate is offered through St. John's University.

Special Requirements for Acceptance:
