Residency Special Features:   Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) is the nation's premier organization dedicated to the progressive control and cure of cancer through programs of patient care, research and education. The pharmacy resident will have the opportunity to learn about cancer diseases and how it varies between pediatric, adult and geriatric population. The residents will precept pharmacy students and participate in educational programs such as pharmacy journal clubs and clinical pearls in addition to publishing in pharmacy newsletter.

Special Requirements for Acceptance:   Letter of interest, three letters of recommendations, academic transcript, curriculum vitae, Pharm.D, and PGY1. The applicant must be eligible to be licensed in NY State (permanent U.S. resident status is required in NY to be a licensed pharmacist).

Site Special Features:   The pharmacy department is affiliated with St. Johns University Pharmacy School. Pharm.D. students rotate through different rotations at MSKCC. Currently MSKCC has different outpatient clinics that are located in different parts of Manhattan as well as in New Jersey, Westchester county NY, Suffolk county NY, Nassau County NY. Also MSKCC is well known for different research opportunities.
