Residency Special Features:   The residency program vision is to develop a clinician who can deliver patient-centered care as members of an interdisciplinary team, emphasizing evidence based practice, quality improvement approaches, and informatics.
The resident completes required rotations in adult internal medicine, critical care (medical and surgical), anticoagulation services, research,  disease state management, and practice management/administration. Elective opportunities include geriatrics/homebased primary care, infectious diseases, psychiatry (inpatient/outpatient), community based outpatient clinics (CBOCs), pain management, oncology and community living center.
The resident is adjunct faculty at the University of the Sciences. The resident has the opportunity to obtain a teaching certificate through the University of the Sciences.
