Residency Special Features:   Lehigh Valley Health Network's PGY1 residency program provides residents with the opportunity to further develop clinical and leadership skills and explore the many facets of hospital pharmacy practice. Core rotations include administration, critical care (trauma), infectious diseases, and internal medicine. Longitudinal experiences include ambulatory care, clinical staffing, drug information, drug shortage facilitation, formulary management and presentation skills, and completion of a major research project. The program offers flexibility to ensure areas of interest are incorporated within the experience.
Fringe Benefits:   The resident will receive ten vacation days, two interview days, four holidays and sick time per policy. Health insurance is available via payroll deduction. Expenses covered for ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting and Eastern States Conference.
Special Requirements for Acceptance:   Pharm.D. or equivalent experience and eligibility for licensure in Pennsylvania (including completion of externship hour requirements). Application must be submitted through PhORCAS: see website for details.
