Residency Special Features:   The pharmacy practice residency provides an integrated experience in acute care, ambulatory care, drug information, and practice management with an emphasis on primary care. Core experiences include ambulatory care, hematology/oncology, infectious disease, ICU (SICU/MICU/CCU), internal medicine/cardiology, psychiatry and transplant. Other experiences include hepatitis C, cardiology, geriatrics and anticoagulation. Teaching opportunities are available and are in affiliation with Duquesne University. The residency is flexible, which will allow the resident to tailor their experiences to meet their individual interests and career goals. Each resident must complete a residency project and seminar presentation as part of the requirements for completion of the program.
