Residency Special Features:   The oncology pharmacy resident is based at the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute and will focus efforts on the development of clinical skills in a variety of practice sites including, but not limited to inpatient oncology/hematology, bone marrow transplantation, ambulatory care, oncology care, IDS-oncology, and pain management. Opportunities for off-site rotations will be determined based on the interest of the individual resident. Opportunity for formal and informal teaching exists in a variety of settings including programs established at UPCI and the school of pharmacy. Additionally, the UPCI has an active research program that provides a practice environment that incorporates clinical research into all the areas listed above.

Special Requirements for Acceptance:   Completion of ACPE-accredited Doctor of Pharmacy degree, eligibility for Pennsylvania licensure, curriculum vitae, letter of intent, three letters of recommendation, and onsite interview.
