Residency Special Features:   

This residency is an intensive 12-month program that will provide the resident with a wide variety of pediatric and neonatal experiences ensuring the development of knowledge and skills required to provide expert pharmaceutical care to pediatric patients. Required rotations include general pediatrics, PICU, NICU, pediatric hematology/ oncology, pediatric cardiac critical care, pediatric infectious disease and stewardship, women's services, and pharmacy management. Various elective experiences are also available including pediatric specialty services, emergency medicine, and nutrition support. The resident will complete a medication use evaluation, research project, an ACPE-accredited seminar presentation.

Special Requirements for Acceptance:   Pharm.D., successful completion of (or currently enrolled in) a PGY-1 Pharmacy residency, eligibility for licensure in Florida, completed PhORCAS application, and an on-site interview.
