Residency Special Features:   

The resident will serve as an essential member of the healthcare team, making evidence-based recommendations to optimize patient care and outcomes. Opportunities include precepting pharmacy students, participating in multidisciplinary rounds, providing drug information, conducting research projects, participation in local, state and national meetings and presenting in-services to members of the hospital staff. Learning experiences offered, but are not limited to administration, critical care medicine, neonatal intensive care medicine, internal medicine, infectious disease, nephrology and nutrition. This program is designed to prepare the resident to practice as a knowledgeable and confident clinician in pharmacotherapy management by developing and expanding their foundation.

Special Requirements for Acceptance:   

Candidates must possess a Pharm.D. degree from an ACPE accredited college of pharmacy and be eligible for Florida licensure. Residency candidates must submit curriculum vitae, official transcripts, letter of intent and three letters of recommendation using the standard reference recommendation forms in PhORCAS™. Candidate must participate in the Resident Matching Program.
