Site Special Features:   West Florida Hospital's PGY-1 residency experience offers several core rotations including adult internal medicine, critical care, emergency medicine, and pharmacy practice management. Longitudinal experiences include weekly patient based infectious disease rounds with antimicrobial stewardship pharmacists, every other weekend staffing, pharmacy practice management, and a residency research project. Numerous elective experiences such as cardiology, infectious disease, emergency medicine, pediatrics, rehabilitative medicine, ambulatory care at the Pensacola VA, and many more.
