Residency Special Features:   At the busiest single sit ED in Florida with 167,000 visits in 2012, you will have the opportunity to collaborate in the treatment of many different disease states. Areas of intensive emphasis include neurology/ stroke, trauma, and toxicology among others. Additionally, the resident will have the opportunity to teach PGY1 residents and pharmacy students from two colleges of pharmacy. The resident will conduct a research project anticipated to be at the Florida Residency Conference.
Fringe Benefits:   Resident will receive approximately 20 paid days off as well as travel reimbursement to two professional meetings (ENA and FRC).
Special Requirements for Acceptance:   Pharm.D. (or equivalent experience) and eligibility for licensure in Florida., transcript, CV, 3 letters of recommendation (at least one from current program faculty, preferably two)

It is a community regional referral center with the busiest emergency department in the state and is a JCAHO accredited chest pain, primary stroke, and Level II Trauma Center. LRMC is currently undergoing a transition to affiliation with the University of South Florida/ USF Health as the flagship hospital in this system.
