Residency Special Features:   

Pharmacy Residency is designed to provide candidates with a solid foundation in pharmacy practice, direct patient care, drug information, and practice management skills in a pediatric setting. The resident will function as an active member of various multidisciplinary teams where exposure to diverse clinical experiences will be gained through pediatric-focused clinical and administrative rotations.

Required Learning Experiences include: Orientation, General Pediatrics, Critical Care, Cardiology, Neonatology, Hematology/Oncology, Infectious Diseases, and Administration. Longitudinal Learning Experiences include: Project, Antibiotic Stewardship, Staffing/Service commitment; and Medication Safety.

Special Requirements for Acceptance:   

Completion of ACPE-accredited doctor of Pharmacy Degree, eligibility for licensure in Florida, CV, three letters of recommendation, pharmacy school transcript, onsite interview, and letter of intent.
