Residency Special Features:   Jackson Memorial Hospital's (JMH) PGY-2 Residency Program in Emergency Medicine Pharmacy is for highly motivated candidates. JMH's emergency department serves a high acuity patient population and has greater than 110,000 adult and pediatric visits per year.

Jackson Memorial Hospital is also home to Ryder Trauma Center a nationally recognized leader in trauma and burn care with over 300 trauma activations per month.

Jackson Memorial Emergency Medicine Residency is also heavily focused in toxicology with longitudinal rotations and block rotations at the local poison center on campus.

 The pharmacy resident will receive certificates in Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Advanced Hazmat Life Support (AHLS), Emergency Neurological Life Support (ENLS), Basic Life Support/Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (BLS/ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
