South Florida Baptist Hospital partners with the 13 other BayCare Health System hospitals across the Tampa Bay area to provide residents an educational experience in a wide variety of settings.

Residency Special Features:   

Our PGY-1 residency program is designed to provide expert training and experience in a wide-variety of acute care settings in effort to produce a well-rounded, skilled clinical pharmacist. Over the course of twelve months, the resident will gain experience in a broad range of clinical areas including internal medicine, critical care, infectious diseases, drug information, oncology, nutrition, emergency medicine, therapeutic policy, pain/palliative care, and pharmacy administration. The residency is highly customizable to resident interest and includes opportunities for precepting pharmacy students, obtaining teaching certification, development of written and oral presentation skills, research, and the growth of leadership skills.
