Residency Special Features:   This PGY1 Pharmacy Residency allows the resident to experience both acute care and ambulatory care settings. This residency is an organized and directed program designed to accommodate the needs of the individual resident. Over the course of twelve months, the resident will develop expert skills and competency in providing pharmaceutical care to a variety of patient populations. Ambulatory care experiences include participation in pharmacist-managed clinics with opportunities to teach patients and other healthcare providers. Resident will obtain professional confidence and leadership skills by participating in the multidisciplinary care of patients under the guidance of over 20 specialty trained preceptors.

Special Requirements for Acceptance:   PharmD from ACPE accredited College of Pharmacy, eligible for Florida licensure, completed PhORCAS application, drug screen and comprehensive background check.
