Residency Special Features:   The residency is designed to provide specialized training in the delivery of pharmaceutical care to critically ill patients. Residents will obtain experience in the following: Cardiothoracic ICU, Emergency Medicine, Medical ICU, Neuroscience ICU and Surgical ICU. Elective rotation options include Burn ICU, infectious diseases, drug information, pharmacy administration, transplantation services, pediatric ICU, nutrition support, bone marrow transplant, toxicology and neonatal ICU. Emphasis is placed on the development of clinical skills through direct patient care and didactic learning. The resident will also have the option of participating in the Teaching Certificate Program at the UF College of Pharmacy.

Special Requirements for Acceptance:   Eligibility for Florida licensure, college transcripts, curriculum vitae, three letters of recommendation and a letter of intent are required for application to the program.
