Residency Special Features:   Orlando Regional Medical Center, part of Orlando Health, is the primary site for this residency. Critical care teams are multidisciplinary, intensivist-led and include PGY-2 residency-trained clinical pharmacists. Critical care learning experiences include surgical, medical, pediatric and neonatal. Additional experienced include trauma/general surgery, emergency medicine, and advanced pharmacy practice rotations. Activities include performance of clinical research project and presentation of an ACPE-accredited seminar. Clinical on-call and pharmacy operations experiences are conducted approximately every other weekend.

Special Requirements for Acceptance:   Pharm.D., successful completion of (or currently enrolled in) a PGY-1 Pharmacy residency, eligibility for licensure in Florida, completed PhORCAS application, and an on-site interview.

Site Special Features:   Orlando Regional Medical Center (ORMC), part of Orlando Health (a 6 hospital, 1780-bed healthcare system), is an academic teaching hospital with a Level 1 Trauma Center. ORMC serves as the primary practice site for this residency. Additional experiences occur at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, an academic teaching hospital specializing in pediatrics, and Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies, an academic teaching hospital specializing in women's and neonatal medicine. Orlando Health also supports approximately 200 medical residents and fellows.
