Residency Special Features:   NMS Code 126113 - traditional PGY1 program. The program is designed to provide the resident with the skills, knowledge, and expertise required to practice in a clinical environment. Our medical center offers a wide array of pharmaceutical services with an emphasis in primary care. Pharmacy services include pharmacotherapy clinics, cardiology clinic, infectious diseases, psychiatry, pain management and acute and critical care medicine. Residents are involved in teaching activities, in-services, and in preparing a major residency project. Our ultimate goal is to prepare the resident to become an active member of the primary health care team and obtain an in-depth working knowledge of all other areas of clinical and administrative pharmacy practice.

Special Requirements for Acceptance:   U.S. citizenship, ACPE-accredited Pharm.D. degree, GPA>3.0, pharmacy licensure in any state, official academic transcript (pharmacy school only), curriculum vitae, letter of intent, three letters of recommendation and an onsite interview. All applications to the program must be submitted through the PhORCAS system.
